Leopard Dock by lil-naruto Leopard Dock by lil-naruto
Mmmm my Object Dock skin, almost pixel-perfect with the actual dock in OS X Leopard!

If you are adding screenshots to your gallery and if you include this dock skin, please include credits to me. :D

Any idea why the icons all fall to the bottom of the dock? I would love to use this, but this glitch is annoying

It's really easy ;) So follow the link in the artists comments and download the file.

Then open up two windows. 'My Computer' and wherever you put the file you just downloaded.

In the My Computer window click on 'Local Disk (C: ) (Or whatever yours is called) then go to Program Files> Stardock > ObjectDock > Backgrounds > Non-Tabbed.

Then in the other window click on the zip file of the dock you downloaded. Then click on the 'Leopard Dock' folder. Then click on 'Backgrounds'. There should be a folder that says 'Leopard Dock'. Drag that folder into the other window that has the non-tabbed files in it.

Right click on your dock and select 'Dock Settings' when that comes up click the 'Appearance' tab. There should be OS X Leopard in the backgrounds drop down menu. Select that and your done!

Hope this makes sense!

HOW DO YOU GET THE BLUE LIGHT UNDER THE ICON???

lol, THERE IS NO NEED FOR THE CAPS AND MULTIPLE POSTS.

It's the indicator, place the indicator image into the indicators folder and select it from ObjectDock's preferences.

Why don't you actually submit the file here so it can be downloaded from dA? =p

I have re-arranged my Desktop so that my Dock is now at the bottom of my screen. But it looks different than on your screenshot. Please take a look at this: [link]

What changes are necessary so that it will look like on your screenshot?

It's working now, many thanks :).

Btw: Would it be possible to increase the position of the icons so that there is more space between the empty dock and the beginning of the icons? It would even look more like the real Dock. I hope you understand what I mean. I'm not that into skinning ObjectDock and maybe it's a limitation of the app itself, but it would be really cool if that's possible.

Ohh, I can't really do anything about that, it's the program itself. If it were higher off the bottom of the screen I would've made the indicators more like the real indicators from Leopard.

Sorry. :(

Seems that screen shot is all over the internet today. Everyone claims to have it on their system, but won't say how they changed the OS 10.4.10 dock to emulate Leopard 10.5.

Care to share ~lil-naruto?

cheers...

Erh, I didn't claim that I've changed the OS 10.4.10 dock to emulate Leopard's new dock.

Infact if you read my comments, its a skin for ObjectDock; if you're running Windows with ObjectDock you can get a dock looking like Leopard's new dock now. ;D

Very nice skin, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me because my ObjectDock is on the left side of the screen. Can you please make some kind of "special version" for me?

Many thanks in advance!
